I make these recycled earrings out of bicycle disk brake. The rainbow coloring is brought out of the steel by heating it to just the right temperature not by painting or staining. Its just the metal! These heavier weight earrings make an awesome statement or costume piece! 

All of my dangle earrings are mounted on sterling silver hooks!
